Suzon Mahmud
Founder of PrivacyMetaData — builds the metadata removal tools and writes the site's privacy guides.
Suzon Mahmud is the founder of PrivacyMetaData. He designed and built the site's browser-based image, PDF and document tools, whose defining decision is that everything runs on your own device: your file is parsed and rebuilt inside the browser and never uploaded to a server.
He wrote the metadata parser and cleaning pipeline behind the tools, and he authors the guides in the PrivacyMetaData blog — from what EXIF metadata is and how to protect your privacy to removing GPS location from photos. Where a claim comes from an outside authority, he names and links the source rather than asserting it.
His stated approach is to make removing hidden data simple and trustworthy enough that there is no reason to skip it: no account, no payment, no install and no upload. The reasoning behind that design is set out on the about page.
